The UCSB Campus Cloud is a set of cloud services providing our campus with building blocks that can be assembled to meet your research computing needs. 

To ensure UC employees have access to cloud services that meet the campus requirements for security, privacy, and liability, the UC system has negotiated contracts with the following providers.

Amazon Web Services (AWS)

AWS is UCSB's largest provider of cloud computing services. UCSB has built a managed, integrated AWS environment known as a “Landing Zone” (LZ) with several benefits among which: UC-wide Enterprise and S3 Storage Discount.

The Campus Cloud’s Azure Environment provides a discount program, compliance “guardrails”, networking connectivity to campus plus visibility and observability resources.

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Google Cloud Platform (GCP), offered by Google LLC, is a suite of cloud computing services running on the same infrastructure that Google uses internally for its end-user products, such as Google Search. Alongside a set of management tools, it provides a series of modular cloud services, including computing, data storage, data analytics, and machine learning.
