The Autoclave Core provides glassware and plasticware sterilization, and biohazardous waste decontamination and disposal service to research labs across campus.
It is one of four core facilities within the Biological Nanostructures Laboratory (BNL), a 1,600 square foot shared multi-user environment for biological synthesis and analysis that supports interdisciplinary research at the interface of life science and engineering. Instrumentation for molecular biology, recombinant protein expression, purification & analysis and tissue culture is available on a recharge basis.
