The AlloSphere at UCSB is a three-story immersive instrument for large-scale scientific visualization, simulation, and multimodal data representation. Built around a five-meter-radius spherical display screen suspended in an anechoic chamber, it surrounds up to thirty researchers in a shared, interactive environment, letting teams explore complex data together through sight, sound, and interaction in ways conventional single-user virtual reality cannot.
